Role Overview: As part of our expanding Production Team, we are seeking an experienced Bench Joiner to contribute to the creation and restoration of exceptional timber products. This role is ideal for a skilled professional who is passionate about precision craftsmanship and enjoys working with high-quality materials.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manufacture and restore sash and casement windows and timber doors to high standards.
- Operate and maintain traditional woodworking machinery, including:
- Crosscut saws
- Thicknessers
- Planers
- Tenoners
- Spindle moulders
- Mortisers
- 4-sided planers and moulders
- Ensure all products meet Ventrolla’s quality standards and specifications.
- Collaborate with the Production Team to meet project deadlines.
- Adhere to all health and safety regulations within the workshop.
Key Requirements:
- Proven experience as a Bench Joiner, preferably with sash and casement window projects.
- Proficient in using traditional woodworking machinery.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to producing high-quality work.
- Ability to read technical drawings and translate them into finished products.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and adaptability.
- A team player with a positive and proactive attitude.
