Are you a driven, target-focused sales professional ready to take ownership of a high-value patch and win big? Ventro Group is growing its Passive Fire Protection division and we're looking for a Senior Sales Manager to lead new business sales across the public sector, close multi-million pound deals and take on the added responsibility of managing and growing our most important key accounts. This is first and foremost a sales role.

What you'll be doing:

  • Driving new business sales across the public sector, proactively generating pipeline and winning high-value contracts with Housing Associations, NHS Trusts and Local Authorities.
  • Selling consultatively at director and senior stakeholder level, leading complex negotiations and closing multi-million pound deals.
  • Owning the full sales cycle from prospecting and lead generation through to face-to-face meetings, pitches, proposals and closing.
  • Taking on the added responsibility of key account management - retaining, developing and growing our most important public sector accounts as their senior point of contact and trusted advisor.
  • Leading on public sector tenders and bids, shaping winning sales strategy and working closely with internal teams to build a compelling, competitive proposition.
  • Building and managing your sales pipeline in HubSpot CRM, forecasting accurately and managing your own diary and client visit routes across your territory.
  • Acting as a senior voice within the sales team, mentoring and coaching colleagues and helping shape wider sales and business development strategy.

What we're looking for:

  • A proven B2B sales professional with 3+ years' experience in new business sales, field sales or business development, and a strong, demonstrable track record of hitting and exceeding sales targets.
  • Experience selling into the public sector - Housing Associations, NHS Trusts, Local Authorities or similar - with a track record of landing large, multi-million pound deals.
  • A confident, credible closer who can sell and negotiate at director and senior stakeholder level and lead complex, high-value sales.
  • Able to combine hunting for new business with the added responsibility of key account management, growing and retaining revenue from existing clients.
  • Sales experience within construction, fire safety or passive fire protection is a strong advantage, but talented B2B sales professionals from other sectors are very welcome to apply.
  • Full UK driving licence required.
