Ventro, Firntec and LivGreen are an exciting group of companies focused on fire-safety services and net zero retrofit. Ventro are looking for a carpenter/door measurer to join our company. As the carpenter/door measurer you will work across various Ventro projects completing fire door installations.
Key Responsibilities:
- Installation of fire doors
- Measurement of doors/frames
- Appropriate use of all materials, tools and resources
- Accepting and moving deliveries in line with health and safety
- Ensure quality and standards of work are high
- Ensure health and safety regulations are met as well as best practice standards
- Undertaking any training necessary for the role
- Ensure all work is evidenced through our HILTI/Riskbase app
The successful candidate will:
- Carpentry NVQ
- Have excellent customer service and communication skills
- Previous carpentry experience; especially when fitting fire doors
- Valid CSCS card
- Willingness to travel
- Access to smartphone in order to update the HILTI app
- Be Asbestos-aware, and preferably first aid
- Provide own battery-powered tools (Preferred)
