Key Responsibilities:
You will visit construction sites to validate completed fire protection work, ensuring everything meets our quality standards. This includes measuring and checking fire curtain installations (Rockwool, Firefly, Battboard), counting penetrations and collars, and verifying door installations against specifications and purchase orders. You will need to confirm that all work matches contractor invoices and original quotes, then inspect installations to ensure they follow manufacturer guidelines. All findings must be documented through the RiskBase app with photographic evidence, and you will complete health and safety audits during each site visit, working alongside our HS&E Manager on formal SHARP audits when required.
Experience required:
- Must have previous firestopping experience
- Experience with construction inspection or fire protection systems would be preferred
- Detail-oriented with strong attention to quality
- Comfortable working on construction sites
- Ability to work independently and make clear decisions
- Basic IT skills for digital documentation
