Ventro are currently looking to recruit a Principal Project Manager to join our team. The primary role of a Principal Project Manager is to ensure that projects are delivered on schedule, within the budget and according to H&S and the client’s requirements.
Main Responsibilities:
- Meeting with management and clients to identify project requirements and provide project updates
- Supervise sites and co-ordinate activities under CDM regulations
- Compiling and submitting project status reports - Inc; Progress, delays, Health & Safety, requests for information
- Promote Ventro to identify future opportunities of new works
- Conduct door quality inspections with the use of audit sheets
- Carry out firestopping QS measurement checks
- Managing materials on site and stock levels
- Monitoring project performance to ensure timely delivery
- Managing subcontract teams
- Managing 3-5 live projects at a time
- Site Health and Safety - Inc; Rams, Toolbox Talks, site signage, understanding of asbestos registers, safe working practices, reporting near misses and accidents, raising F10
Requirements:
- PRINCE2 Qualified
- CSCS (Or Equivalent)
- SMSTS (Or Equivalent)
- Emergency First Aid at Work (3 Day Course preferred)
- Fire Marshall
- Fire compliance industry experience, i.e. Fire door installation or fire compartmentation
- Computer literate (Excel, Word, Project) with access to a smartphone for HILTI uploads and monitoring
- Must be eligible to live and work in the UK
- FIRAS/BMTRADA (Doors and/or Fire Stopping)
- Prince/NVQ L6 (or equivalent) in construction management
- Preferred 3 years’ experience in a project management role
- Experience in fire stopping/fire doors/social housing/interior fit out
