About Ventro Group

Ventro Group is a leading fire safety, façade engineering, and building compliance consultancy, delivering critical life safety services across the UK. Backed by private equity investment from KLAR Partners, we are scaling rapidly - investing in our people, expanding our technical capability, and setting new standards in building safety, PAS 9980 compliance, and external wall fire risk assessment. Operating through our specialist brands - Ventro, Firntec, and HJS - we provide a full end-to-end solution across:

  • Façade inspection, external wall system assessments, and remediation (FRAEW / PAS 9980 / EWS1)
  • Fire risk assessments and building safety consultancy
  • Passive fire protection and compartmentation surveys
  • Active fire systems (design, installation, maintenance)
  • Fire door inspection and compliance

This is a unique opportunity to join a high-growth, PE-backed business at the forefront of UK cladding, façade fire safety, and regulatory compliance.

The Role

We are looking for a Fire Safety Consultant (Façade) to join our expanding team, specialising in Fire Risk Appraisals of External Walls (FRAEW) in line with PAS 9980:2022. This role is ideal for someone with experience in façade fire risk, external wall systems, or cladding assessments who wants to work in a high-impact, technically focused environment.

What You’ll Be Doing

  • Producing high-quality FRAEW reports in line with PAS 9980
  • Reviewing façade inspection data, surveys, and evidence packs
  • Assessing external wall systems, cladding materials, and fire risk

  • Collaborating with Chartered Fire Engineers and façade specialists
  • Delivering clear, compliant fire risk appraisals and recommendations
  • Contributing to building safety cases and cladding remediation strategies

How This Role Works

All site visits and intrusive surveys are completed by our specialist façade team. You are provided with full site data, photos, and technical evidence. You will produce the full FRAEW report. Reports are then reviewed and signed off by a Chartered Fire Engineer. You’ll have direct access to both site teams and fire engineers for support. This allows you to focus on technical delivery, report quality, and fire risk analysis.
