The Role
As a Façade Engineer with us, you\’ll work on diverse and challenging projects that directly contribute to building safety. Whether you\’re just starting your career or bringing years of experience, you\’ll find opportunities to grow and develop your expertise.
What You\’ll Be Doing
Core Responsibilities:
- Deliver high-quality façade engineering services to clients nationwide
- Conduct Fire Risk Appraisal External Wall reports following PAS9980:2022 standards
- Carry out site visits and assessments
- Provide expert advisory support to both internal teams and external clients
- Perform third-party reviews and design verification
- Build lasting relationships with clients while identifying new business opportunities
Technical Knowledge: You\’ll work with industry-leading standards including PAS 9980, BS 8414, BR135, BS 8579, and BS EN 13501-1. Your fire safety expertise will be applied using guidance from Approved Document B, BS 9999, BS 9991, and other relevant standards.
What We\’re Looking For
Essential Qualities:
- A proven background in the fire safety industry and façade engineering
- Genuine passion for fire safety and façade engineering
- Strong communication skills and customer service mindset
- Self-motivated with excellent organisational abilities
- Professional approach with attention to detail
- Flexibility to adapt to changing priorities and client needs
Preferred Background:
- Degree in engineering (façade, fire, mechanical, structural, civil, or related field)
- Understanding of relevant legislation and industry standards
