The Role As a Façade Consultant, you’ll work on a diverse portfolio of projects, providing expert guidance on façade fire compliance. Whether you’re early in your consultancy career or bring significant experience, you’ll find opportunities to specialise, grow, and shape the future of façade safety.
Key Responsibilities
- Deliver high-quality façade consultancy and fire-compliance services
- Conduct Fire Risk Appraisals of External Walls (FRAEW) in accordance with PAS 9980:2022
- Undertake site inspections, surveys, and technical assessments
- Provide expert advice to internal teams, clients, and stakeholders
- Perform third-party reviews, design verification, and technical due diligence
- Build and maintain strong client relationships
- Identify opportunities to support and expand service offerings
Essential Qualifications & Experience
- MIFSM Level 2 or above
- CFPA Diploma (or equivalent Fire Safety Diploma)
- NEBOSH (basic level standard)
- Minimum 3 years’ experience working with UK Fire Safety Law
- Proven background in fire safety and façade-related work
- Strong communication and client-facing skills
- Excellent organisational skills and attention to detail
- Ability to adapt to changing priorities and project demands
Technical Knowledge You’ll be working with key industry standards and guidance, including:
- PAS 9980
- BS 8414
- BR135
- BS 8579
- Approved Document B
- BS 9999 / BS 9991
- Other relevant fire-safety and façade-compliance frameworks
Preferred Background Strong understanding of UK building regulations, fire-safety legislation, and compliance frameworks.
