As an AWS Connect Engineer you will play a key role within Ventrica as we continue to grow and expand our professional and technical services. You will contribute to a culture of collaboration, innovation, passion, and excellence within your team and across the business. We’re looking for someone with deep experience in AWS Connect to design, implement, and maintain our cloud-based contact centre solutions using Amazon Connect across our client base.
What will I do
- Solution Driven: Taking a bold approach to Build, Configure and Maintain complex contact centre solutions leveraging Amazon Connect and AWS Services.
- Collaborate with stakeholders: Understand business needs and implement solutions within Amazon Connect.
- Define technical project requirements: Collaborate with team members and stakeholders across the business.
- Preparation and Administering: Prepare, update, and manage technical and business documentation.
- Building Relationships: Establish and maintain professional trusting relationships with clients, while effectively managing technical project materials.
What will I bring
- Proven experience of Amazon Connect (Flows, Routing Profiles, Queues, Contact Profiles etc).
- Strong knowledge in AWS Services such as Lambda, S3, Lex and Cloudwatch.
- Identify and resolve problems related to Connect functionality and third-party integrations.
- Demonstrate a methodical approach to problem-solving and troubleshooting, with the ability to identify, analyse, and resolve technical issues efficiently and effectively.
- Ability to understand business processes and assist in translating business requirements into application functionality.
- Must be able to effectively communicate with non-technical collaborators.
- Strong personal workload management and organisational skills.
- Excellent communication skills, both verbally and in writing.
- Must be able to explain technical concepts to non-technical individuals.
Desirable
- Contact Centre Experience.
- AWS Certified Cloud Practitioner or Amazon Connect Communications Specialist certification.
- Proficiency in at least one programming language (Python, JavaScript, or Java preferred).
- Previous experience with Zendesk.
