Overview

You'll be joining a growing organisation delivering residential home adaptation projects, where your commercial expertise will help improve people's quality of life every day. Initially, the role will have a strong emphasis on estimating and quotation preparation. You'll review contractor quotations, manage project costs and ensure works are commercially viable before supporting projects through to completion. It's a varied role where you'll work closely with contractors, local authorities and internal project teams, managing multiple live projects at any one time. Responsibilities
- Prepare and review quotations for home adaptation projects
- Manage project costs from quotation through to final account
- Review contractor pricing and negotiate best value
- Support procurement and commercial decision making
- Build strong relationships with contractors and key stakeholders
- Ensure projects are delivered within budget and to a high standard
Requirements
- Experience in Quantity Surveying, Estimating or Cost Management
- Strong commercial awareness and attention to detail
- The ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
- Excellent communication and organisational skills
- A customer-focused approach
- Experience within social housing, refurbishment, maintenance or adaptation projects would be advantageous, although we're equally keen to speak with Assistant Quantity Surveyors or Estimators looking to take the next step in their career.
