Vention is a global engineering partner to tech leaders and fast-growing startups, combining 20+ years of product development expertise with an AI-first approach and a reputation for reliable delivery. Now we’re expanding our London office and hiring a Business Development Manager to grow revenue and forge new partnerships. You’ll report to the BD Director and contribute to our next growth stage – taking us past $250M in ARR. Bring your drive – and help turn great ideas into real, working products.

What you’ll do:

  • Generate new leads and meetings with clients that meet Vention’s ideal client profile (ICP)
  • Conversion of new leads coming from the marketing team
  • Focus on bringing in new revenue for Vention UK
  • Engage with product and engineering leaders to turn client goals into clear execution paths
  • Work closely with UK & Global sales team to establish new ways of selling our services in the UK market
  • Ensure seamless onboarding of new clients and drive growth on these accounts for the first year
  • Attend events and other networking meetups to generate leads and opportunities
  • Maintain clean pipeline data and bring a mindset of continuous improvement

What you bring:

  • 3+ years of experience in tech consultative sales or talent/recruitment sales
  • Proven ability to self‑source and close complex deals
  • Confident working with technical and executive stakeholders
  • Strong grasp of product development and how fast‑moving companies scale
  • Highly autonomous, outcome‑focused, and energised by growth
  • Experience with modern GTM tooling and AI‑powered sales workflows
