Ventilation Surveys and Services are a nationwide business that delivers Ductwork Cleaning, Air Conditioning and Fire Compliance projects throughout the UK. We undertake works for large FM Companies, Government and local authorities, healthcare, retail and leisure sectors. From start-up in 2010, the business has grown to employ 79 staff and has revenues that exceed £7 million per annum, with revenue for 2025 expected to exceed £8.4 million and a targeted revenue growth of 20% predicted for 2025. The business is run from a new purpose-built HQ in Liverpool with regional offices in London and Belfast. Most staff work remotely as customer site-based operational teams supported by the Central Management, Finance and Administration teams. We have Investors in People accreditation as well as being an ISO 9001 registered business. We look to constantly develop and improve our internal working practices along with the recognition and development that we offer our staff.
Location: Field Based, will be expected to travel locally and regionally.
Salary: Will be dependent on experience and Region.
Working Hours: 40 hours per week, Monday – Friday, including some weekend working and overtime as required. There will be a requirement for travel within the UK. Shifts are a mixture of day and night works, flexibility to travel and stay away from home is a requirement.
Main Duties:
- To deliver site works and services to VSS clients effectively and efficiently, ensuring you operate within VSS safety and operational standards whilst adhering to TR19 guidelines.
- The works performed will include a mixture of Kitchen extract system and Ventilation systems cleaning, Fire damper inspection, and the Installation of access doors into ventilation systems.
Job outline:
- Deliver site systems cleaning, maintenance, and survey works within our operational standards.
- Operate within health & safety procedures.
- Utilise company operations system to record work outputs and times.
- Ensure that the best interests of VSS are maintained, observed and protected through all site-based works and travelling to and from works.
- To protect the Client’s personnel and any members of the public that may be affected by our works.
