As the UK premium ventilation manufacturer, we are seeking a dynamic and results-driven Regional Specification Sales Manager – North London to join our successful team. As a Regional Specification Sales Manager (North London), you will be responsible for the following post codes: AL, WD, EN, N, HA, SL, UB, NW, W, WC, E, IG.

Your primary focus will be on generating new specifications and maintaining your historical specifications, arranging detailed toolbox training sessions for housing providers and their install teams, securing and managing projects whilst driving revenue and market share.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Working closely with the National Sales Director for Social Housing to develop and implement a strategic sales plan to meet and exceed sales targets within your designated territory.
  • Identify, contact and manage relationships with housing providers, architects, specifiers, consultants, contractors, and other key decision-makers to drive specification of our products within local authority and housing associations.
  • Conduct presentations and product demonstrations to educate and influence specifiers on the features, benefits, and value proposition of our products.
  • Collaborate with the internal technical and design teams to provide customized solutions and support to specifiers during the project development phase.
  • Actively track and manage project pipelines, ensuring timely follow-ups.
  • Provide accurate and timely sales forecasts, reports, and market intelligence to senior management.
  • Monitor industry trends, competitor activities, and market conditions to identify new opportunities for business growth.
  • Represent the company at industry events, trade shows, and conferences to enhance brand visibility and expand the network of potential clients.
  • Collaborate closely with the wider sales team to support their efforts in closing specifications and achieving overall sales objectives that may cross over into your defined territory.
  • Maintain a high level of product knowledge and stay updated on industry standards, codes, and regulations.
Requirements:
  • Ideally 3-5 years of field sales experience in electrical wholesale or social housing specification.
  • Proven track record of success in sales, particularly within the electrical market, building materials, or construction-related sectors.
  • Strong understanding of the specification process within social housing, including working with housing associations and local authorities, or willingness to learn.
  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport and influence key decision-makers.
  • Results-oriented with a demonstrated ability to meet and exceed sales targets.
  • Self-motivated and able to manage multiple projects and opportunities simultaneously.
  • Proficient in using CRM, Excel, Word, and other sales tools to track leads, opportunities, and sales activities.
  • Willingness to travel within the assigned territory as required.
