If so, we want you to be part of our growing Regional Specification Sales team, Social Housing, at Vent-Axia, the UK's premium ventilation manufacturer!
What You’ll Do:
- Territory Management & Growth: Identify, contact and manage relationships with housing providers, architects, specifiers, consultants, contractors, and other key decision-makers to drive specification of our products within local authority and housing associations. Maximise sales opportunities within your defined territory and achieve set revenue targets. Securing and managing projects whilst driving revenue and market share.
- Sales Development: Driving sales growth by promoting and selling our ventilation products and solutions to planned works managers, reactive repairs managers, and other key stakeholders within the Social Housing market. Maintain a high level of product knowledge and stay updated on industry standards, codes, and regulations.
- Technical Expertise & Consultation: Generating new specifications and maintaining your historical specifications. Arranging detailed toolbox training sessions for housing providers and their install teams. Conduct presentations and product demonstrations to educate and influence specifiers on the features, benefits, and value proposition of our products.
- Collaboration & Reporting: Collaborate with the internal technical and design teams to provide customized solutions and support to specifiers during the project development phase. Actively track and manage project pipelines, ensuring timely follow-ups. Provide accurate and timely sales forecasts, reports, and market intelligence to senior management.
What We’re Looking For:
- 1-3 years proven success in territory management and the specification market/electrical/building materials or related industry.
- Selling into Local Authority, housing providers etc.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- Familiarity with ventilation systems and electrical products is preferred.
- You should also be comfortable reading technical drawings and advising on installation.
- A basic understanding of building regulations.
- Strong track record of growing revenue, securing new accounts, and expanding existing relationships.
- The ability to communicate technical concepts clearly and confidently, both with clients and internal teams.
- Ability to manage difficult conversations with professionalism and poise.
