Vent-Axia, part of Volution Group plc, improves the indoor environment by providing ventilation solutions across a number of markets. The majority of Vent-Axia\’s sales are primarily through electrical wholesalers, contractors, developers and DIY retailers.
Job profile:
The Regional Sales Manager – Distribution (Southeast & London), will have responsibility for the development of Distributor accounts of both over the counter products and ventilation projects. This will include ensuring our Distributors have up to date point of sale to drive promotions. There will be a requirement to identify new distribution and growth opportunities to increase sales within the region including; CR, KT, GU, RH, TN, BN, CT, ME, BR, SE, SM, TW, UB, NW, W, T, IG.
You will be required to achieve annual sales targets, develop new and existing customer accounts and relationships, and attend site visits with customers.
Experience within the electrical wholesale industry or similar technical/manufacturing industry, would be desirable.
As a Regional Sales Manager (Southeast & London), your responsibilities will include:
- Understand the need to identify different sales strategies for different product groups.
- Develop relationships with the key personnel within your customer base at the right level.
- Grow OTC sales by actively gaining promotional orders.
- Grow project sales by engaging with customers and contractors and promoting the NV service
- Attend and support customers during marketing events such as trade days or breakfast mornings.
- To develop and implement market communications programs/campaigns, to support the target market share position
- Monthly reports to be produced and issued on time and accurately to your manager showing development of the Electrical Wholesale market.
To be successful in this role you will need:
- Minimum 2 years account/territory management.
- Worked in the Electrical Wholesale/Merchant market.
- Demonstratable success in sales and negotiations skills.
- Strong communicator, able to speak to people at all levels.
- Strong organisational skills and time management
- Manual Driver’s License.
- Ideally have good access to the M25 (North Kent, South London , Crawley)
