Fire Alarm Engineer

Venrec are pleased to be recruiting on behalf of our client for a Fire Alarm Engineer to join their growing business based in Staplehurst, Kent.  The role entails: Visiting client premises in order to service, repair, commission and provide reactive maintenance for fire detection and fire alarm systems  Ensuring that all systems are working correctly and meet standards  Maintaining and servicing emergency lighting systems and other safety systems  Providing advice if appropriate of other services that the firm provides  Participating in a company call out rota  The successful candidate will have the following skills and experience:  At least one years\’ experience maintaining and repairing fire alarm systems  Experience working with various Fire Suppression Systems. FIA is desirable but not essential, as our client are happy to provide training. A full UK driving licence. Excellent communication skills both written and verbal. Other details: The basic salary for this role is £30,000 per annum. The hours for this position are Monday to Friday 8am to 4pm. Overtime is available. The company will provide a company van along with a fuel card. Our client will offer training and development
