Venrec are pleased to be recruiting on behalf of our client for a Fire Alarm Engineer to join their growing business based in Staplehurst, Kent.
The role entails:
- Visiting client premises in order to service, repair, commission and provide reactive maintenance for fire detection and fire alarm systems
- Ensuring that all systems are working correctly and meet standards
- Maintaining and servicing emergency lighting systems and other safety systems
- Providing advice if appropriate of other services that the firm provides
- Participating in a company call out rota
The successful candidate will have the following skills and experience:
- At least one year's experience maintaining and repairing fire alarm systems
- Experience working with various Fire Suppression Systems
- FIA is desirable but not essential, as our client are happy to provide training
- A full UK driving licence
- Excellent communication skills both written and verbal
Other details:
- The basic salary for this role is £30,000 per annum
- The hours for this position are Monday to Friday 8am to 4pm
- Overtime is available
- The company will provide a company van along with a fuel card
- Our client will offer training and development
