Venrec are pleased to be recruiting on behalf of our client; an established manufacturing firm based in Southend-Sea for an Accounts Assistant. The role entails (but is not limited to):
- Processing invoicing and dealing with supplier queries.
- Ensuring all invoices are paid on time and preparing post-sales invoicing.
- Assisting with credit control where needed.
- Daily reconciliations with the bank.
- Assisting with payroll and all relating tasks.
- Other tasks relevant to the financial management of the company.
A successful candidate will have:
- Previous experience using an accounting system such as Sage or Xero.
- Experience working within an internal accounts department.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Excel.
- Excellent communication skills both written and verbal.
- Strong time management and organisational skills.
- Ability to work alone and part of a team.
The salary for this position is set at £25,000 per annum.
