Venrec are pleased to be recruiting on behalf of our client for a LGV Driving Instructor/Trainer to join their expanding team. Our client is located in Sittingbourne, Kent and they are now looking to recruit trainers who will help train the next generation of truck drivers. This is a fantastic opportunity to join a forward thinking and expanding team with real career prospects.

The role entails:

  • Delivering all aspects of LGV training to new drivers, returning drivers and upskilling drivers, including but not limited to:
  • Driver Training
  • Tachograph training
  • Manual Handling training
  • Drivers’ hours training

A successful candidate will have the following skills and experience:

  • Have held a Full LGV Licence for over 4 years
  • Have a passion for teaching and the ability to successfully instruct drivers through Cat C+E (Class 1)
  • Have a positive attitude
  • Excellent communication skills
  • A high level of customer service

Other details:

  • The basic salary for this position is £35,100 + Bonus which is based on first time passes
  • Hours of work 07:00 to 17:00 with 1 hour unpaid break for lunch
