The successful candidate will play a critical role in shaping our data infrastructure using Microsoft’s suite of data tools. Key Responsibilities Design, develop, and maintain scalable and efficient data pipelines. Implement and manage solutions using Microsoft Azure , Azure Data Factory , Microsoft Fabric , and Synapse Data Engineering . Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define data requirements and ensure the availability, integrity, and security of enterprise data. Optimize data workflows and support data integration across various platforms. Monitor, troubleshoot, and improve data systems to ensure optimal performance. Key Requirements Proven experience as a Data Engineer or similar role. Strong hands-on experience with the following technologies: Microsoft Azure (Data services) Azure Data Factory Microsoft Fabric Microsoft Synapse Data Engineering Proficient in SQL and data modeling techniques. Understanding of cloud data architecture and security best practices. Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail. Desirable Experience working in the insurance industry , particularly in the Lloyd’s of London market , is a strong plus.
