Repairs and Compliance Team Leader - London - Β£43.7K - 12 month FTC
Venn Group's specialist E&F recruitment team is recruiting for a Repairs and Compliance Team Leader on behalf of a respected housing organisation in London. This opportunity offers the chance to lead essential repairs and compliance services while making a tangible difference to residents' homes and wellbeing.
The Role
You will be responsible for:
- Leading the delivery of responsive repairs, maintenance and compliance services across a residential property portfolio
- Managing contractors, maintenance operatives and customer service staff to ensure high-quality service delivery and value for money
- Overseeing statutory compliance programmes including gas safety, fire safety, asbestos management and electrical testing
- Managing maintenance budgets, monitoring contractor performance and producing compliance and expenditure reports
- Ensuring void properties are maintained to agreed standards and supporting the achievement of key performance targets
- Building positive relationships with tenants, contractors and internal stakeholders to drive customer satisfaction and service improvement
About You
- Proven experience managing repairs, maintenance or property compliance services
- Strong knowledge of health and safety legislation and property services compliance requirements
- Experience managing contractors, service contracts and maintenance budgets
- Excellent communication, organisational and stakeholder management skills
- Ability to analyse performance data and produce clear reports
- Housing sector experience is highly desirable
- Relevant housing or property qualification desirable
