Locum Construction Lawyer - Initial 3+ months - Remote Working - Up to Β£65 per hour umbrella Venn Group's specialist legal team are currently working with a Local Authority to recruit for a Locum Construction Lawyer. This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced Construction Lawyer to join a well-regarded legal team. The Role:

Up to Β£65 per hour - potential to be Outside IR35 Role Responsibilities:

Provide high-quality legal advice to the Council on a range of construction and commercial agreements Draft, review, and negotiate a range of agreements including JCT, NEC and other standard-form contracts Draft bespoke agreements, framework agreements, professional appointments, and other related agreements Work closely with project managers, procurement, and other Council officers to provide practical and commercially focused legal advice Support on wider commercial matters on behalf of the Council when required Candidate Requirements:

Qualified Solicitor, Barrister or Chartered Legal Executive (or equivalent) with substantial post-qualification experience in Commercial Law Experience of construction contracts is essential Knowledge of local government law is desirable Venn Group is an equal opportunities employer and welcomes applications from all candidates.
