RTA Locum Solicitor / Fee Earner (Fast Track RTA) - Remote - 3 Months+

Venn Group's specialist legal recruitment team is recruiting for an experienced RTA Locum Solicitor, Legal Executive, or Fee Earner to join a well-established law firm on an initial 3-month ongoing contract. This opportunity offers the chance to manage a busy caseload of Fast Track RTA matters within a supportive and established personal injury team.

The Role

You will be responsible for:

  • Managing a caseload of Fast Track RTA claims from instruction through to settlement
  • Handling matters via the MOJ Portal and OIC Portal
  • Drafting legal documents, witness statements, and settlement correspondence
  • Reviewing liability and quantum evidence
  • Negotiating settlements with insurers and third‑party representatives
  • Progressing litigated files where required and ensuring compliance with court deadlines
  • Providing practical and commercially focused advice to clients

About You

  • Qualified Solicitor, Legal Executive, or experienced RTA Fee Earner
  • Proven experience handling a caseload of Fast Track RTA matters with minimal supervision
  • Strong working knowledge of the MOJ and OIC Portals
  • Experience dealing with liability disputes, quantum assessments, and settlement negotiations
  • Ability to work efficiently and manage a high‑volume caseload
