Locum Employment Lawyer - London - Up to £58 per hour umbrella - Full time
3 month period initially, with the possibility of extension or permanency depending on project needs.
Are you a driven employment law specialist looking to make a difference for a reputable trade union? Venn Group is working with a well-renowned and prestigious trade union in London in their pursuit of an Employment Lawyer on a locum basis for an initial 3-month period.
Requirements:
- Qualified Lawyer, with a valid practising certificate in the UK (non-qualified lawyers with experience could also be considered)
- Specialism within Employment Law, with experience of practising post-qualification
- Experience working for or with trade union is advantageous
Duties/Responsibilities:
- Advising on all matters of employment law, both contentious and non-contentious
- Advising on areas of employment law such as TUPE and equal pay
- Attending and preparing for employment tribunals as necessary
- Representing the organisation and external clients
- Deputise for senior members of the legal team
