The role
You will be responsible for:
- Maintaining client and office ledgers
- Performing bank reconciliations
- Processing financial transactions
- Raising client invoices and monitoring outstanding payments
- Producing financial reports
- Submitting VAT returns
- Supporting compliance and audit requirements
About you
- Previous legal cashiering experience
- Understanding of Solicitors Accounts Rules and SRA Regulations
- Experience maintaining client and office accounts
- Proficiency with Xero or similar accounting software
- Knowledge of double-entry bookkeeping
- Previous conveyancing knowledge would be advantageous
- Ability to work effectively in a busy environment
