We are delighted to be recruiting for an exciting temporary opportunity for a highly reputable Public Sector organisation. Our client is looking to recruit for a new Web Content Editor to join their growing marketing & communications team, to work on an exciting new project.
Duration: 2-3 month interim contract
Location: Birmingham – 2-3 day on-site
Hours: Full-time, Monday – Friday 37 hours
Day Rate: £17 - £18 hourly via Umbrella (inclusive of holiday pay)
Duties/Responsibilities:
- Contribute to the development and launch of the new website project
- Focus on content editing, with 80% of the role dedicated to refining existing copy and 20% to writing original content
- Edit and enhance AI-generated copy to make it more natural, engaging, and aligned with a human tone of voice
- Ensure all content follows brand guidelines, maintains consistency in voice, and meets quality standards
- Collaborate with the team to refine messaging, improve clarity, and optimise content for the target audience
Skills/Experience/Requirements:
- Excellent attention to detail
- Strong copywriting and copy editing skills
- Demonstrable website content writing experience
