Job Description
Technical Deployment Engineer – Greater Manchester

Venn Group’s IT team are recruiting for enthusiastic Technical Deployment Engineer’s to join a busy technical support team for an exciting deployment project!
Location: Greater Manchester
Rate: £18 per hour Umbrella
Duration: 6 months contract
Start: Immediate
Day to day duties:
- Experienced in PC builds, installs, replacements and deployments
- Maintain an accurate inventory of all PCs, peripherals and related equipment being decommissioned and replaced
- Install, configure and troubleshoot hardware components including PCs, monitors, keyboards and other peripherals
- Assist with the installation and configuration of operating systems, drivers and software applications on new hardware
- Conduct thorough testing and quality assurance procedures to ensure all hardware and software components are functioning correctly
- Maintain detailed documentation of hardware specifications, installation procedures and troubleshooting steps
- Identify and resolve hardware and software issues that arise during the decommissioning and replacement process
- Perform OS and application installs
- Have excellent Customer Focus and communication skills
- Be able to deliver first class customer care on the delivery of client’s requests and the resolution of incidents
- Be a fast learner
- Have a positive and enthusiastic attitude
- A full valid UK driving license for travel to various sites
