An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Supporter Care Officer to join a leading health organisation. This is a full-time, interim role within the Fundraising directorate, responsible for delivering excellent supporter care and ensuring smooth donation processing.

Key responsibilities of the role:

• Handle supporter enquiries via phone and email, providing timely and professional responses

• Process donations accurately and ensure compliance with financial regulations

• Maintain accurate supporter records in CRM systems

• Ensure prompt and personalised thanking of donations

• Oversee fulfilment of materials and supporter orders via third-party providers

• Work with Finance to ensure accurate income reconciliation

• Identify opportunities for process improvements to enhance operational efficiency

• Manage complaints and complex enquiries to maintain high supporter care standards

• Support team KPIs and SLAs to ensure excellent service delivery

• Collaborate with internal teams to enhance supporter communications and fundraising efforts

Ideal candidate profile:

• Experience in supporter care and income processing within a non-profit environment

• Strong communication skills, both written and verbal

• Knowledge of CRM databases and data management best practices

• Understanding of charity legislation, including Gift Aid and Data Protection

• Ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently and work collaboratively across teams

• Solution-focused mindset with strong problem-solving abilities

• Commitment to the organisation’s values and enhancing supporter experiences

Location : Hybrid working (3 days on-site)

Salary : £17 – £19 per hour

Working hours : Full-time, 35 hours per week

Contract : 3-6 months
