Job Description
We're currently speaking with experienced payroll professionals ahead of upcoming opportunities across the region. We expect demand for both Payroll Technician and Senior Payroll Technician level candidates, with positions ranging from hands-on payroll processing through to senior payroll support and team leadership responsibilities.
Typical responsibilities may include:
- Processing payroll accurately and within strict deadlines
- Managing payroll queries from employees and stakeholders
- Reconciling payroll payments and maintaining accurate records
- Ensuring compliance with payroll legislation, PAYE and statutory requirements
- Supporting month-end processes and payroll reporting
- Building strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders
- Investigating and resolving complex payroll issues
- For senior positions, supporting team performance, quality checking work and acting as an escalation point for payroll queries
We're keen to hear from candidates who have:
- Previous end-to-end payroll experience
- Strong attention to detail and a commitment to accuracy
- Experience working within deadline-driven environments
- Excellent communication and customer service skills
- Knowledge of current payroll legislation and best practice
- The ability to manage workloads independently and prioritise effectively
