Service Support Assistant
Rate: p/h inside IR35 Umbrella
Hours: 37 hours per week

Duration: 3-6 months initially
About the Role:
- This is a vital administrative support role within the Children’s Services Finance team, helping to ensure the smooth operation of key services. You will:
- Provide high-quality clerical and database support
- Handle sensitive information with confidentiality and professionalism
- Liaise with families, referrers, and partner agencies
- Support safeguarding processes and data quality initiatives
- Produce reports, letters, and maintain accurate records
Key Duties:
- Manage referrals and input data into case management systems
- Respond to enquiries via phone, email, and in person
- Organise meetings, take minutes, and manage correspondence
- Maintain filing systems and track service outputs
- Support financial processes and procurement tasks
- Strong administrative and IT skills (MS Word, Excel, etc.)
- Experience in a clerical or customer-facing role
- Excellent communication and organisational abilities
- Ability to work with sensitive information and maintain confidentiality
- Flexible, team-oriented, and able to prioritise workload
