Locum Senior Housing Litigation Lawyer – South East – Full time – Once a week office attendance. Up to £60 umbrella per hour dependent on experience. South East England local authority. 3 month period initially, with the possibility of extension.
Are you a driven housing specialist looking to make a difference in the public sector? Venn Group is working with an experienced and nurturing legal team in a South East local authority in their pursuit of a Senior Housing Litigation Lawyer on a locum basis for an initial 3‑month period.
Duties:
- Maintaining a high‑volume caseload of Housing claims, including disrepair, possessions etc.
- Negotiating settlements
- Providing sound advice to all clients
- Training and mentoring junior lawyers as appropriate
Requirements:
- Experience working a caseload in housing
- Experience working an extensive caseload
- Valid Certificate to Practice
- Experience working for any public sector organisation or local authority is essential
- Law degree, ideally an SQE
