Governance – Locum – Lawyer – North – Local Authority Job Title:  Senior Governance and Constitution Lawyer Job reference:  86544 Job description:  An opportunity to join a prestigious Local Authority in the North region has arisen for a Solicitor to work alongside the Monitoring Officer as a Senior Governance and Constitution Lawyer. Knowledge of Housing Law would be helpful The requirements will be: To advise the council on a variety of Governance matters and ensuring decisions are made inline with guidelines Advise on changes in governance Draft, review and update the constitution and associated documents Working arrangement: To ASAP for a 3-month initial basis, likely to be extended. This role is to be performed on a full-time basis. Fully remote is being offered, but some travel would be ideal (i.e. once per month) This role is suited to individuals who have experience within Local Government as a Goverance Specialist Solicitor.
