We are working with a leading College based in Pimlico, to recruit a Senior Finance Officer on a permanent basis. The post holder will provide essential administrative and transactional support to the Finance team as well as collaborate across all departments.

  • Handling cash receipts, ensuring accurate recording and bank balances
  • Overseeing AR, AP and credit card statements as well as making journal entries in the accounting system
  • Gathering financial records needed for the audit process
  • Preparing VAT statements for review by the Finance Manager
  • Acting as a key point of contact for internal departments and external stakeholders regarding financial matters
  • Monitoring the finance inbox and dealing with staff, students, and supplier queries
  • Supporting the finance team in setting up a Fixed Asset Register and making sure it remains up to date

Strong experience working in the Education sector within a finance role. Experience using Xero. The candidate must have a Child Enhanced DBS, be on the update service and have their paper copy.
