Senior Commercial Lawyer Location : East of England (flexible, with occasional travel required) Contract : Permanent, Full-Time (37 hours per week) – Part-Time applications considered Salary : £50,000 – £56,000 per annum About the Role Our client is seeking a driven Senior Commercial Lawyer to join their team, to provide high-level legal support across a range of commercial, contracts, procurement, trading, and corporate law matters for client organisations in the public sector. You will work on high-quality, complex legal projects, manage a diverse caseload, and lead negotiations for a range of clients, including public sector organisations and third-sector partners. Key Responsibilities Legal Advisory : Provide expert advice on commercial, procurement, and corporate law, ensuring compliance and protecting client interests. Project Leadership : Lead legal support for complex projects involving multiple stakeholders and client interests. Caseload Management : Handle a variety of straightforward and complex legal matters. Team Leadership : Deputise for the Principal Lawyer, supporting and supervising the Commercial Team. Client Support : Represent clients in negotiations, ensuring legal matters are managed effectively. Training & Development : Mentor junior colleagues and contribute to their professional growth.
