About the Role
We’re looking for anAdmin Team Leader to join a local authority in Leicestershire to provide efficient and effective business support processes associated with statutory requirements, including assessments and monitoring.

Key Responsibilities
- Diary Management – Make diary appointments and arrange appointments and meetings for managers and manage daily routine inboxes for senior management staff
- Facilitating, arranging and minuting Meetings – Be responsible for the planning and organisation of meetings, including the preparation of all relevant materials and documentation. When required take accurate minutes and produce post-meeting documentation and support
- Ability to liaise with external agencies – To be first point of contact for enquiries from schools, partners, voluntary and community organisations, agencies and members of the public, including generic inbox management on a daily basis
- To be responsible for providing a comprehensive range of business support services both administrative and secretarial functions for senior management, utilising good organisational skills to co-ordinate local and statutory requirements
- To support the administration of complex databases ensuring all necessary updating systems are in place, accurate and to ensure effective systems are maintained to allow the supply of information for auditing purposes – allowing the information to be analysed efficiently and effectively across service areas
- Receive and deal with emails, telephone calls as well as ensuring that visitors to the section are dealt with appropriately
- To develop and compile reports, integrate and produce statistical analysis for Management and Senior Management and Freedom of Information enquiries

Secretarial or Personal Assistant experience
- Local authority experience is an advantage
