Caretaker
MUST HAVE ENHANCED ADULTS AND CHILD DBS on the UPDATE SERVICE - If you do not meet this criteria, your application will be immediately void.
Venn Group are working with a school in Scunthorpe to recruit a Caretaker on a temporary basis, supporting the day-to-day operation and maintenance of a large school campus.

Key Responsibilities
- Support the smooth running of a large school site, working proactively within a caretaking team
- Carry out a wide range of practical and physical duties across the campus
- Assist with reactive repairs and general site maintenance tasks
- Respond to ad-hoc requests from different departments across the school
- Support with site logistics, including parking and setup for large events
- Liaise professionally with staff, contractors and visitors
- Respond calmly and effectively to emergency or difficult situations
- Maintain a safe, clean and well-presented environment at all times
About You
- Enhanced DBS on the Update Service – essential
- Previous experience in a caretaker, site manager or similar role
- Experience providing practical site services to a range of customers
- Comfortable working as part of a team on planned and reactive tasks
- Able to complete basic maintenance and refurbishment works
- Strong communication skills and a professional approach
