School Cleaner - London - £16.92 Umbrella (Temp to Perm) Venn Group’s specialist Estates & Facilities recruitment team is recruiting for a School Cleaner on behalf of a well-regarded independent educational organisation in London. This temp to perm opportunity offers the chance to join a supportive school environment with the potential to secure a permanent position. The Role You will be responsible for: - Cleaning classrooms, washrooms, communal areas, and other school facilities - Maintaining high standards of cleanliness, hygiene, and presentation throughout the site - Using cleaning equipment and materials safely and effectively - Assisting with the cleaning of outdoor areas and school grounds - Following COSHH, Health & Safety, and safeguarding procedures at all times - Supporting with occasional manual handling duties, furniture moves, and site-related tasks - Participating in mandatory training, including fire safety and manual handling About You - Previous cleaning experience is desirable but not essential - Understanding of Health & Safety and safe working practices - Reliable, hardworking, and able to work independently or as part of a team - Strong attention to detail and commitment to high standards - Flexible approach to duties and working within a school environment - Experience within a school or educational setting would be advantageous - Basic DIY or maintenance skills would be beneficial Key Details - Rate: £16.92 per hour Umbrella - Permanent Salary: £19,240 per annum - Location: London - Hours: 25 hours per week - Working Pattern: 5 days per week with a 6:00am start each day - Contract: Temp to Perm - Start: ASAP Why Consider This Role? - Opportunity to secure a permanent role within a respected educational environment - Join a friendly and supportive facilities team - Additional training and development opportunities provided - Consistent part-time working hours with potential for additional hours Apply To discuss this School Cleaner opportunity, contact Sam Kidd at Venn Group or apply online.
