Hours: 08:00-16:00 Monday to Thursday, 08:00-15:30 Friday We are seeking a proactive and hands-on Facilities Technician to support the maintenance, safety and day-to-day operation of a busy educational environment. This is a varied role where you will be responsible for ensuring buildings, grounds and facilities are safe, compliant, well-maintained and fit for purpose. Carry out day-to-day maintenance, repairs and minor refurbishment works. Conduct site inspections and ensure the premises remain safe, compliant and well-maintained. Coordinate contractors and monitor the delivery of on-site services. Support health & safety compliance, risk assessments and statutory inspections. Monitor fire safety, security systems and respond to site issues as required. Maintain maintenance records, compliance documentation and inventory logs. Obtain quotations, order materials and support contractor procurement. Use facilities management systems to track repairs, jobs and compliance activities. Experience carrying out building maintenance or facilities-related duties. Knowledge of building services, security and fire safety procedures. Good IT skills, including Microsoft Office. Full UK driving licence.
