Private Client Solicitor – Probate & Trusts
Location: Plymouth
Salary: Competitive, dependent on experience

The Opportunity
An established law firm in the Plymouth area is looking to recruit an experienced Private Client practitioner with a focus on Probate and Trust work to join its busy Private Client team.
This is an excellent opportunity for a Solicitor or suitably qualified legal professional with approximately 3–5 years’ PQE and a strong background in probate, estate administration and trusts.
The successful candidate will join an established team, managing a varied caseload and providing a high standard of advice and client service. Working arrangements can be discussed, with potential for hybrid working.
The Role
Responsibilities will include:

Managing a varied Probate and Estate Administration caseload.

Advising clients on the administration of estates and associated legal matters.

Handling trust creation, administration and ongoing trust-related work.

Preparing and advising on relevant legal documentation.

Liaising with beneficiaries, executors, trustees and other professional advisers.

Providing clear, practical advice to clients throughout the process.

Managing matters efficiently and maintaining high standards of client care.
Requirements

Approximately 3–5 years’ PQE, or equivalent experience within Private Client.

Strong practical experience in Probate, Estate Administration and Trust work.

Ability to manage a caseload independently.

Excellent communication and client relationship skills.

A professional, organised and client-focused approach.
