Rate: £280–£300 per day (Inside IR35, via umbrella)

Opportunity: We’re seeking an experienced Senior SEND Officer to join the Preparation for Adulthood Review Team on an interim basis. This role replaces a recently departed team member and requires someone who can step in quickly and make an immediate impact.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead and manage Annual Reviews and Phase Transfer Reviews
  • Coordinate follow-up actions to ensure compliant, timely outcomes
  • Handle complex casework for young people’s pathways to adulthood
  • Collaborate with multi-agency teams to support positive transitions and outcomes

Ideal Profile:

  • Proven experience within Local Authority SEND services
  • Strong understanding of SEND legislation and EHC Plan processes
  • Skilled in managing high caseloads and complex transitions
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and organisational skills
