Opportunity: We’re seeking an experienced Senior SEND Officer to join the Preparation for Adulthood Review Team on an interim basis. This role replaces a recently departed team member and requires someone who can step in quickly and make an immediate impact.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and manage Annual Reviews and Phase Transfer Reviews
- Coordinate follow-up actions to ensure compliant, timely outcomes
- Handle complex casework for young people’s pathways to adulthood
- Collaborate with multi-agency teams to support positive transitions and outcomes
Ideal Profile:
- Proven experience within Local Authority SEND services
- Strong understanding of SEND legislation and EHC Plan processes
- Skilled in managing high caseloads and complex transitions
