Venn Group’s specialist Legal Recruitment team is recruiting for a Wills & Probate Solicitor on behalf of a well-established and long-standing law firm with in Greater Manchester. This permanent opportunity offers the chance to work alongside highly experienced Private Client lawyers, assisting on high-value matters while developing your expertise within a supportive and collaborative team.
The Role
You will be responsible for:
- Managing a varied caseload of Wills, Probate, Trusts and Estate Administration matters
- Drafting simple and complex Wills, Lasting Powers of Attorney, and associated Private Client documentation
- Advising clients on inheritance tax planning, estate planning, trusts and probate matters
- Assisting with high-value Court of Protection and Private Client cases
- Handling both simple and complex estate administration matters
- Supporting clients through sensitive circumstances with empathy and professionalism
- Managing new enquiries, correspondence and client communications
- Maintaining accurate records using the firm's case management systems
About You
- Qualified Solicitor with a minimum of 2-3 years' PQE in Wills & Probate or Private Client law
- Strong experience managing Wills, Probate, Estate Administration and Trust matters with minimal supervision
- Excellent communication and client care skills, particularly when supporting vulnerable clients and bereaved families
- Ability to work efficiently to deadlines and manage a busy caseload
- Strong IT skills, including experience using case management systems and Microsoft Office applications
- Experience dealing with contentious probate matters would be advantageous
