Position: Locum Childcare Advocate
Organisation: Local Authority in the Southeast of England
Duration: 3 months with the possibility of extension thereafter
Working Pattern: Full Time
Working Arrangement: Attend court when required, no office attendance is needed
Hourly Rate: Up to Β£60 per hour (Umbrella)
The ideal candidate will have experience in handling Childcare matters and can demonstrate prior experience working on behalf of Local Authorities.
Duties may include:
- Represent the Council at the Family Court when required
- Provide specialist Childcare services and policy advice with an emphasis on the conduct of Public Law Litigation for the protection of children
- Advising client departments on complex issues concerning Childcare Law matters and assisting with occasional management of Childcare cases on behalf of the Local Authority
