Locum Planning Lawyer – Part-Time (Remote Working) – up to £60 per hour Umbrella
Venn Group’s specialist legal team are currently working with a Local Authority in the Midlands who are seeking an experienced Planning Lawyer to join their team on a part-time locum basis.
Role Overview:
- Focused solely on Planning Law
- Advising Planning Officers on all aspects of planning legislation
- Drafting Section 106 and Highways Agreements
- Supporting and attending Planning Committees once per month in person
Key Requirements:
- Minimum of 7 years’ experience in Planning Law preferred
- Proven ability to advise at senior level, including engagement with elected members and senior officers
- Confident working autonomously and able to hit the ground running
- Previous experience handling politically sensitive matters
Working Arrangements:
- Approx. 20 hours per week (with some flexibility depending on workload)
- Flexible working hours
- Fully remote role, with the exception of monthly evening Planning Committee attendance
