Our client, a leading global financial services institution is seeking an experienced Risk Solutions Lawyer (VP level) for an initial six‑month interim assignment, with strong potential for extension. This role sits within the EMEA Transaction Legal team, supporting a high‑profile front‑office business on sophisticated derivatives and hedging work.
About the Role
You will play a key role in supporting the organisation’s Risk Solutions business on a wide range of hedging and derivatives transactions. The position offers exposure to complex structures, senior stakeholders, and meaningful project work across the legal function. You’ll work closely with front‑office teams from structuring through execution, applying strong analytical skills and commercial judgement.
Key Responsibilities
- Partner with the Risk Solutions business on loan‑linked hedging, deal‑contingent trades, novations, and ancillary documentation including equity commitment letters.
- Work with key documentation such as:
- ISDA Master Agreements
- Intercreditor Agreements
- Facilities Agreements
- Deal Contingent Long Form Confirmations
- Introducer Agreements

- English‑qualified lawyer with strong experience in derivatives and structured transactions gained in a top‑tier law firm or in‑house role.
- Strong product knowledge across derivatives and transactional documentation.
