Job Description
We are seeking an experienced Employee Relations Advisor to provide short-term support to a busy HR team during a period of increased casework. The successful candidate will have a strong background in employee relations and be confident managing a varied caseload while providing pragmatic, compliant advice to managers.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage a range of employee relations cases including disciplinary, grievance, sickness absence, performance, capability and flexible working matters
- Provide timely advice and guidance to managers on HR policies, procedures and employment legislation
- Support and advise on formal meetings, investigations and hearings
- Prepare and review employee relations documentation, outcome letters and case records
- Ensure cases are managed in line with internal policies and employment law requirements
- Work collaboratively with the wider HR team to provide a high-quality HR service
- Maintain accurate and confidential records throughout the employee lifecycle
Ideal Candidate Profile:
- Previous experience working in an Employee Relations Advisor or HR Advisor role
- Strong knowledge of UK employment law and HR best practice
- Experience managing a high-volume employee relations caseload
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
- Ability to work independently in a remote environment
- CIPD qualification or equivalent experience desirable
Rate: Β£20 per hour
Length: 6-week contract
Working pattern: Fully remote
