We are seeking a passionate and experienced Community Engagement and Partnership Coordination Consultant to lead initiatives that strengthen community cohesion, promote diversity, equity and inclusion and build meaningful partnerships across the borough. This role is pivotal in fostering collaboration between local communities, voluntary organizations, statutory bodies and other stakeholders to deliver impactful engagement strategies and projects.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement innovative community engagement strategies tailored to diverse audiences
  • Lead and facilitate meetings, workshops, and collaborative sessions to achieve defined outcomes
  • Support marginalized and underrepresented communities through inclusive engagement initiatives
  • Design and produce promotional materials for both print and digital platforms, ensuring content is accessible and audience-focused
  • Manage and deliver community projects and events, ensuring effective planning and execution
  • Secure funding through bid writing, sponsorship, and fundraising initiatives to support engagement activities
  • Collaborate with universities and research institutions to evaluate community cohesion projects
  • Promote interfaith dialogue and community cohesion initiatives to bring diverse groups together
