We have a fantastic opportunity to join a Local Authority in the North as a Locum Civil Litigation Lawyer. This role is on a full-time basis, but part-time candidates will be considered. The initial duration of the contract will be 3 months, with the likelihood of extension.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Manage a caseload of Civil Litigation cases at all stages of Pre-Litigation/Litigation
  • Ensure compliance with the Civil Litigation Protocol
  • Represent the Council in Court and conduct advocacy where appropriate in mainly remote hearings with some court attendance required

Hourly Rate: £55ph Umbrella

Recent Civil Litigation experience is essential, as they need candidates that can hit the ground running. Candidates with recent Local Government experience is desired but not essential.
