Locum Adult Social Care Lawyer β 3 months + β Predominantly Remote Working β Up to Β£60 per hour β Midlands
Position: Locum Adult Social Care Lawyer
Organisation: Midlands based Local Authority
Duration: 6 months + (with the likelihood of extension thereafter)
Working Pattern: Part time hours, 30 hours over 4 days
Working Arrangement: Predominantly remote working, occasional office attendance welcomed with applications
Hourly Rate: Up to Β£60 per hour Umbrella
The ideal candidate will have prior experience working within a Local Authority and can demonstrate knowledge of Adult Social Care matters.
Duties may include:
- Undertake all aspects of legal work relating to Adult Social Care Legislation, including, but not limited to, Court of Protection, Section 21a, Section 16 and Designation matters
- Liaise and work collaboratively with other legal representatives
- To prepare and manage a varied caseload in relation to all aspects of Adult Social Care matters
- Represent the Council in court and may need to conduct advocacy when required
