Legal Secretary – West Sussex
An established regional firm is seeking an experienced legal secretary to join its Personal Injury team. This is an office-based role working alongside a highly experienced team of solicitors. The firm is open to both full-time and flexible working arrangements. On-site parking is available, and a competitive hourly rate is on offer.
Key responsibilities include:
- Audio and copy typing of correspondence and legal documents
- Liaising with clients, experts, counsel, witnesses and the court
- Handling telephone calls and taking messages
- File management including photocopying, scanning and preparing enclosures
- Ensuring compliance with GDPR and firm procedures
- Using the Proclaim case management system
- Preparing cost update letters and billing documents
- Managing diaries, appointments and client queries
Requirements:
- Experience within personal injury work is preferred
- Confident using Proclaim
