Job Description Head of Finance Based in Kingston-upon-Thames, Hybrid (2 days on-site) Permanent £60,000 - £70,000 We are seeking a hands-on and proactive Head of Finance to lead the day-to-day finance function while providing high-quality financial insight and strategic support to the Senior Management Team. The successful Head of Finance will play a key role in enhancing financial systems, strengthening controls, and improving reporting processes, driving efficiency and supporting informed decision-making across the organisation. Head of Finance - Duties and Responsibilities: Deliver quarterly management accounts, annual budgets and forecasts including variance analysis and financial insight Work closely with the senior management team to monitor financial performance, manage expenditure, and improve financial accountability Complete reconciliations and ensure accurate and timely financial reporting Calculate annual rents and service charges Monitor capital expenditure and support financial planning and control for significant investment programmes Produce year-end statutory accounts and supporting information for the external audit, maintaining high standards of financial governance Manage and support one member of staff Skills and abilities: Comfortable working in a small organisation where you will need to be both strategic and hands-on Housing sector experience would be advantageous but is not essential Advanced Excel Skills Experience of integrating finance systems Should you be interested in this vacancy, please don’t hesitate to apply immediately.
