Multi-Skilled Joiner – Full Time – Rochdale (Greater Manchester)
We are looking for an experienced Multi-Skilled Joiner to join our responsive repairs team. This role offers the opportunity to make a real difference by delivering high-quality repairs and maintenance across our housing stock, ensuring tenants receive a first-class service. Immediate start available.
What’s on offer?
- Rate of pay: £20-£23 per hour (Umbrella)
- Contract length: Minimum 3 months
- Hours: Full time, 36.5 hours per week (Monday – Friday)
- Work pattern: On-site, working across responsive repairs and maintenance jobs
- Start date: Immediate
Key Responsibilities
- Carry out joinery repairs and maintenance within tenanted properties
- Undertake a wide range of responsive repair tasks including doors, skirting, flooring, and kitchen units
- Deliver multi-trade works where required, such as basic plumbing or patch plastering
- Ensure all work is completed to a high standard, on time, and in line with health and safety regulations
- Maintain excellent tenant communication and customer service throughout all jobs
- Accurately record completed works and report on progress to supervisors
About you
- Time-served Joiner with proven experience in responsive repairs
- NVQ Level 2 in Carpentry and Joinery is required
- Multi-trade skills (plumbing, plastering, tiling, etc.)
- Full UK Driving Licence (company van is provided)
- Strong focus on quality workmanship and customer satisfaction
- Positive attitude, problem-solving skills, and flexibility to adapt to different repair tasks
